Nineteen pages in (Project Novel)

I’m now 19 pages into the rewriting/editing process of Project Novel, and I’m really stoked with the process so far.

As my editing skills have grown thanks to the day job, I find that I’m really able to tighten up a lot of the descriptive parts and become more punchy with the dialogue, which is exciting – I like how that gives me a deeper glimpse into who my characters really are.

I’m doing to tap out on the week’s goal for now, but think I’m off to a decent start. I’ll leave you with another snippet, but only because it’s a holiday weekend! Enjoy!

“Cait, there is nothing you do that I do not see or know,” he said, holding her head in his hands. “I am a part of you, of your soul.”
