Home-bound working

Well, thanks to Sandy/Frankenstorm, the fella and I are both working from home today and tomorrow.

It’s kind of nerve-wracking watching all the reports as the storm gets closer and seeing the city go into lockdown mode. We ran down to my work to get my computer yesterday before the subways were closed, and already the J and Z stations on Broad were boarded up.

In between watching reports of Sandy’s whereabouts, peeking out the window and checking our website, I’ve written two articles – all from the comfort of bed.

We’re charging our phones in case we lose power and have canned food, just in case, too.
Like any good writer and creative, we also have enough booze to sustain us through this and the zombie apocalypse.

Hope everyone stays safe during Frankenstorm!
