30-Day Poetry Challenge: Day 20

Day 20: Write a short poem about change. (Please know that we’ll be using these poems as part of tomorrow’s prompt, so please consider this before posting them publicly.)

I can’t even believe that it’s already DAY 20!!

bare all season,
begin to form the tiniest buds,
ready to bathe their newborn leaves
in the spring, in the summer
sunshine so bright and warm and healthy.
