there was the blowing alley,
you know, I think he said Jersey?
(59th next, stand clear of the closing doors)

Go sit down!
(a busker practices his clumsy dances moves at the far end of the train)
Did you go to 42nd St. and take care of what you needed to?
Three days ago,

It was big,
mine was this big
Is this going to Far Rockaway?
Hold on!
(A mom with four kids snaps her gum)
(someone smells like chicken soup)

Cologne and perfume, two for $20!

* while this was culled from just one train ride, it made six stops, so all those people getting on and off technically made for six different locations. That’s my story, and I’m sticking to it.
